Hello and welcome to New England!

I don't do much with poi anymore, I mostly hula hoop and do my own thing. (I'm in worcester, MA) Where in NH are you staying? I might be able to look up some folks (boston area) and get you in touch with them.

Hi Marina!

Boston has a good sized and open fire community. Twice a year there is the Wildfire festival in CT. Every month there is a drumming circle and afterwards burn in Amherst (I think one of the burn organizer is on live journal also). Every week in Boston there is a open non-fire spin jam at Boston University.

You might be able to get better info on these events through tribe.net.

When will you be moving here BTW?

Wow! Why didnt they offer me any job there? ;( I think I will die in my town. It is so boring to train alone.
I will arrive the 3d June in Boston. My contract starts 06.06, but I suppose the employer wants me to come earlier to get some instructions, so Im not sure yet I ll have time to meet anybody... but I ll make a try, if I find people! =) Because if I dont, I ll have such a possibility only in september(
Sorry for my English, it leaves to be desired(

Hello Marina! As the previous person said, there is a large fire spinning community in New England. I actually know spinners from every state in this area, including New Hampshire. Tribe.net is definitely a good place to get in touch with more people from the area, and I can say from experience that almost everyone in the community I've met is friendly and welcoming. We even have a couple of Russian spinners!

So good luck with your job and make sure to keep in touch on here or Tribe as summer gets closer.

~Dan
