Taken back in May.
San Francisco is rarely sunny. It is even more rare that it is what one might call "warm." Even so, I find there is really something quite beautiful about all the fog that the city receives.
This particular day was a good example of the weird microclimates the Bay Area has. I was out by the Golden Gate, near the ocean, and it was foggy and really cold and windy. And yet, partway out into the bay it was sunny and windy enough to be a good day for sailing.
SORRY DUDE, I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Usually the fog bank obscures the lower part of the bridge and leaves only the tower tips visible. This time it was the other way around.
I have a Thing about straight lines coming to a distant point. I can't draw them, but I like them.
I did not alter this with Photoshop! It really looked like someone put a filter of the bridge and set it to semitransparent! So cool.
I am too lazy to edit out that stupid yellow light.
Okay, who erased the Golden Gate Bridge?!
