Some of the animals at the Aquarium looked soooo cute yesterday, I snapped pictures with my phone.
"Do you have a treat? Well? Do you? Is what you're holding a gigantic walnut?"
I should've scratched behind her ears so I could show off her completely adorable reaction. Another time!
Clearly she wanted to snuggle under a blanket, but there are no blankets in her cage.
I have a new task on Wednesdays: feeding Lenny. So I can add "Is comfortable hand-feeding an 8-foot sturgeon" to my list of Very Specific Skills That Are Mostly Unmarketable Outside Of Animal-Related Jobs. He makes a somewhat horrifying sucking noise when he eats, like a humongous drain unplugging. And he took my entire fist in his mouth. Thankfully, sturgeons don't have teeth.
I'm also using this post to repimp my CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY CARD POST. Even if you live outside the US! That's why we have international stamps.
