"More importantly, I can definitely afford it, which makes it a big plus..." Kangin was ranting on and on at Eeteuk, as the oldest member of Super Junior sat in the kitchen attempting to eat breakfast peacefully. He achieved this by simply ignoring Kangin, who finally noticed and then looked at him crossly. "You're not even listening!"
"Of course not," Eeteuk answered around a mouthful of crunchy cereal. "I stopped paying attention the second you said, 'I want another motorcycle'."
"But I do!" Kangin folded his arms, leaning against the counter next to the fridge.
"And that's lovely. You know what I think about the one you already have."
"That it's amazingly sexy and you totally want to sleep with me?" He shot Eeteuk a winsome grin.
"I--Youngoon!"
Kangin only laughed. "It's true."
"It is not!" Eeteuk sputtered, his face coloring darkly as he got up to go put his dishes in the sink. Turning around, arms folded, he drew himself up to his full height--which wasn't saying much, really.
KangIn recognized this stance and only laughed as Eeteuk commenced glaring at him. "Come on, Jungsu. Take a ride with me, it'll be fun." Kangin tended to drop the '-hyung' honorific when they were alone.
"Never." Kangin opened his mouth to say something else, but Eeteuk was already a step ahead of him. "And I'm not doing that either! Don't you have schedule to go get ready for?"
Kangin had decided to make it his personal mission to change Eeteuk's mind, one way or another. Sure, he could just go get his new bike whenever he wanted on his own, but he liked having Eeteuk's approval before he did things. He felt like it justified them somehow. He wasn't sure how he was going to do it quite yet, which said alot about Kangin's planning abilities, but he was sure that in the end he would figure something out.
Eeteuk grew a little suspicious over the next couple weeks at Kangin's not-quite-Kangin-like behavior. He was acting the same for the most part, except every time Eeteuk caught him staring (which, on that note, was far more often than usual), Kangin had a wicked, laughing grin in place. Who wouldn't be wary? At least he'd stopped mentioning that damned motorcycle.
One afternoon Eeteuk found himself with a few blissful free hours before he was needed at Sukira. An even rarer occurrence: no one else was in the apartment with him. Jumping at the chance, Eeteuk changed into something comfortable and crawled into bed for a much needed nap.
Soon he felt himself snap awake; he didn't even remember falling asleep, or how knew how long he had been out. Someone else's weight was shifting his mattress and Eeteuk instinctively rolled against them. Strong arms wrapped around his torso and he purred when he recognized the familiar scent. "Mhm, Youngoon..."
"Hey, Jungsu. Didn't mean to wake you." Kangin kept his tone level, but allowed himself a cheeky grin. Well, that was totally a lie. Eeteuk finally opened his eyes to blink sleepily up at Kangin, who quickly changed his expression to a more neutral one.
Eeteuk observed him quietly for a moment before asking, "What do you want, Youngoon?"
"You." Came the quick reply before Kangin's lips met Eeteuk's.
It wasn't as if they hadn't kissed before, because they had on many an occasion, it was Kangin's answer that had Eeteuk pulling away from him and rewarding the other man with a hard look. "I don't need any of your games right now, I'm tired."
Kangin smiled, letting one of his index fingers trace along the line of Eeteuk's jaw. "No games," He murmured, voice husky. "Just trust me. I've got you."
"Youngoon, I--"
Kangin only shook his head and cut off Eeteuk's response with another kiss.
Eeteuk shivered into the kiss, returning it this time. He mused to himself at how warm Kangin felt against him, eyes fluttering shut as their kiss deepened and turned into a second kiss, and a third, and far too many more for him to keep track of. He purred softly as Kangin started peeling him out of his clothes, and some how--not at all surprisingly--Eeteuk didn't get much rest before Sukira that day.
With just a half hour to spare Eeteuk found himself cuddled up against Kangin's chest, his arms wrapped around his shoulders, face buried in the side of his neck. He sighed contently as Kangin reached up and ran his fingers idly through Eeteuk's hair.
"See what happens when you trust me? Good things."
"Shut up, Youngoon. I listened this time but I'm still not going to go for a ride with you on that damn motorcycle."
Kangin pouted, still sifting his fingers in Eeteuk's tousled hair. "Why not?"
"At this point...I think I'd rather ride you."
End.
