How does this work? Anons post a one-word prompt and a pairing in reply to this post. Other anons write fills that are about a single sentence in length.
It can be a challenge, and it's highly encouraged for anons who don't normally write to give it a try - it's only one sentence! To make it easier, make sure you have the pairing and the prompt in the subject.

The fabric shifts against his mouth, stretches and sticks in-between his lips with every breath he takes, so that instead of feeling familiar like it logically should, it's almost suffocating to wear this mask again; he supposes that's just what he gets for betraying the boy who taught him how to breathe again.

Steven never suspected that the real reason Jasmine let him borrow her GBA link cable was that it gave her a good excuse to sit next to him and let him get a good whiff of her perfume as they geeked over the Pokémon they were trading back and forth.

People started to catch on to the gimmick when all three Mortys showed up at the costume party dressed as Falkner, but they really got a clue when they showed up the next year dressed as a three-headed Whitney.
