I apologise for not being around for like 3 days straight - the pace of things has been intense at both work and home since Thursday...we have our furlough starting on Monday, and guess what, I get to work over furlough again! I think someone is confused about what that word means...ie, my bosses...so I can look forward to that

A furlough...and layoffs a while back. I hope your company pulls through this mess so you don't have to look for work. In the meantime it would be nice if you got paid. *hugs my poke*

I've had New Moon sitting on my nightstand for a couple months now and still haven't picked it up. I guess I went through another phase of LotR obsession. lol It's nice to know New Moon is better than Twilight. I really hated that movie the first time I say it, but it was better after I read that book. I've been debating whether to read New Moon before I watch the movie. I think I'll wait for it to come out on BD. ;)

getting paid would be nice, but I don't have high expectations...they'd have to replace me even if they did get rid of me, so there is that...

New Moon is leaps and bounds better than the first one, I think you'll really enjoy it!

Yes, I think once I finish this Tolkien phase, I'll pick up New Moon. I should finish Dawn Treader (it was interrupted by my first reading of HP), but I think I'll read New Moon first now that I've seen your reaction. ;)

it was my fave of the four, so I'd say give Twilight a chance, but no promises on Breaking Dawn...hope things are well with you :)
