what do you do first?
Hey gang! to all of you celebrating - Eid Mubaraak! Yesterday was the last day of the Holy Month - meaning no more fasting! I did 25/30 - a solid 2nd in the house :) I know I haven't posted the stats yet this month...maybe tomorrow...I saw Resident Evil: Afterlife in IMAX 3-D - I think it's worth seeing, but the reviews haven't been great...
Resident Evil: Afterlife
The key to seeing this movie is special effects. Like last week, this 3-D movie was truly 3-D and IMAX made it that much better. While the story didn't make all that much sense, as with most of the RE games, it was still worth seeing. It wasn't better than any of it's predecessors, but it was amusing.
The basic premise is that the movie picks up where the last one left off, but with gaping holes. Ali Larter and Milla Jovovich were amazing, Wentworth Miller plays Ali Larter's brother, but the cast holds it together well enough. If you see any movie in 3-D, this should be it.
If you like the RE franchise, you have to see it - if not, then maybe not so much. It may not be worth $15 or more, but for $10, it was worth it for me :)
