inFamous and inFamous 2
I posted reviews
here and
here - in a nutshell, both games were quite good. I gave the first game a 9 and the second an 8.5. The story was weak in the first one, but much stronger in the second one. The game play was quite original, the protagonist having lightning powers, although some gamers complain about how it translated, I found it impressive. I compared it to Prototype and this one wins hands down.
I'm not sure what more I can say, besides re-posting the reviews, which seems pointless. I think if you have a PS3, this is a great PS3 franchise that has a lot of wonderful game play components.
Every Last one
While this book was written very, very well, it was a complete cry fest, I can't, in good conscience, recommend this book. The subject matter was upbeat until about the half way point, then it all goes to pot. The basic premise is that the story follows a mother as she loses most of her family and has to come to terms with their loss. My question is, why would you write a book like this? Why would you want to?
Ultimate Lost and Philosophy
Another wonderful entry in this series. I don't know that I can say enough about this series. It is just well organised and with subject matter as confusing as Lost, this was a great read. As always, should you pick one of these up, take it easy or you'll get lost! This is larger than most of the pop culture books, but is still just as worth reading.
I know these were short, but I update my video game blog almost daily and that's where my online time is spent. Hope you all are doing well and thinking orange thoughts :)
