well..that might be true,but as I was single for so many years,I was still getting Valentines from my friends from abroad and it was nice to know someone's thinking of me with love,though it was not sexual.But for me the VD is an "imported" festival and somehow I'm not a fan,too,cause in the past we were forced to fest the Sowiet festivals,they were strange to our culture and so I'm in a bit anti-importing mood,hehe.For us the day we take as the festival of love is May 1st :)

*nods* the lovers should find a blooming tree and kiss each other under the tree.They say a girl that's not kissed that way will "dry up" in that year,but,hey,look at me,I was rarely kissed that way and still I didn't get dry ;)*giggles*

Overrated-- it's become a commercial holiday in which i don't care for it either. I buy flowers for mom though. :)
