I haven't read the books either but I like the main actress so I'll give it a go and see if I'll like it. At the moment I'm going through the 5 books Songs of Ice and Fire. I LOOOOVE them!

I've never heard of those, what are they about?

The first book is called Game of Thrones. It was made into a tv series. First season showed last year. Second season starts this Sunday. I can only recommend giving it a go.
It's an immense story about knights, kings & queens, dragons and lots and lots of scheming and fighting.

I just finished all the books after watching the movie.
I am so hooked. But i have some mixed feelings after reading all the books though...

I loved the movie! So cruel though but it was a fast paced entertaining movie.
