*It seems a majority of Giratina's ghosts were caught in the plaid rain and are now collectively freaking out. All the recently hatched ghosts are suddenly at their highest evolved forms and the oldest of them are now just hatchlings.
In some cases, the ghosts aren't even ghosts anymore, as seen by a small group of female Snorunt, who look fairly terrified by all the ghosts around them.
Panicked ghosts = ghosts who are likely to lash out at any moment. Watch out now!*
