ITP: TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS OF THE LULZY KIND

Feb 04, 2010 23:44

[Now that the mayhem and destruction is over, have a newbie Red wandering around the CMA with a Pokédex in hand. It seems while everything was going on she's noticed that there were a ton of new Pokémon she'd never seen before. And so like any good curious trainer, she's taken it out to look up information on those johto, sinnoh, hoenn new Pokémon. But there's a noticeable problem as she fiddles around with it...

It starts ringing! Just like a telephone or cellphone. W-What? ;;]

... ... ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ... ...

It's not supposed to do that.

[Yeah, y'think so, Red? D| Who is she even calling?!

Anyway, due to whatever happened to the island during the frequent attacks, it's affected the electrical or whatever waves the Pokédex uses to scan/record Pokémon data. In fact everything related to PokéTech has gone wonky. So messing with anything Pokédex/PokéGear/PokéNav/Pokétch related gives you crossed results. (i.e. A Pokédex may call another trainer's PokéTech or start beeping like the VS Seeker and hilariously inform trainers in the area that they want a battle when in fact they do not.)

Okay? Okay, have fun with that! THREADJACKING IS ENCOURAGED and omg I hope this kind of post is alright to do. I'm sorry if it's not. orz]
