The roamer sets love traps... again~
[There's a very happy... and somewhat devious human-forme pixie in the vicinity between Aurora Forest and the CMA today. There's a smile on her face, a flush of pink on her cheeks and a chirping cottonbird atop of her head. Surely, Mesprit's constant show of joy isn't just because of her own successful relationship.... because it's more about what she and Alto have just done... all for the island's sake.]
I think this was a great idea, Alto! Don't you think so too?
Swaaa~! Fun, Mama~! Everyone happy~! [The Swablu flaps his wings in response.]
Mm... [She lowers her eyelids for a moment, murmuring softly.] Everyone else deserves to feel the same happiness that I do right now... [A sigh escapes her and a smile returns, causing her to lift her gold eyes back up after a loving gaze at her left ring finger. Just looking at that engagement ring makes her get all giddy. Her excitement returns yet again.] ...and I know that those Destiny Knot traps will do exactly that! I had to use up all the thread that I had left, but I'm sure this will work out for the better! [Hmm, she could always see if she could find some more later - it was some really pretty thread...
...but for now, Mesprit is skipping in the direction of her home where some Berries are waiting to be eaten.
Little does the sprite know is that the Island, yet again, is as much of a trickster as it is Awesome. Every single one of her remaining threads has mysteriously and magically been stretched all across the island's geography, and it even added a bit of a stronger love spell into the threads too...]
[OOC: Oh-kay, it's time for Love Traps... 2.0! This time around, it's an all-island event instead of just in the forest!
Just like last time, post with your character and have them fall into one of the somehow numerous red-threaded foot traps all around the island. No, it doesn't matter how or where they fall into the trap - be creative as you wish! Then anyone can reply with the other end of the trap and let the infatuation fun tiems begin! The Destiny Knot's spell will last longer if the characters are still thread-bound, but if the thread is broken, don't worry - they will still be quite lovey-dovey for a while... at least a day's time before things return to normal. The more crack-filled, the better!
...So to recap the basics: Two random characters get trapped by the Destiny Knot and are infatuated for about 24 hours. Follow the rules and everyone can have a good time! And should anything get... er, you know, just remember to continue it elsewhere, ok?
