Describe your personality: I have taken the MBTI test many times, and have always been classified as INFJ. I also find that descriptions of this personality type match me to a T. A quick summary of INFJ: Quietly forceful, original, and sensitive. Tend to stick to things until they are done. Extremely intuitive about people, and concerned for their feelings. Well-developed value systems which they strictly adhere to. Well-respected for their perseverance in doing the right thing. Likely to be individualistic, rather than leading or following. (More info: here).
Positive Traits: Empathetic, loyal, high work ethic, trustworthy, able to relate to others in a way that they will open up to me
Negative Traits: Neurotic, over-think things, overly emotional, negative, stubborn, fearful
Hobbies and interests: Studying Japanese (my major as well), Buddhism, Japanese culture, Easy video games, Pokemon, Running, Passing time with my boyfriend
Dislikes: Dishonest people, criminals, self-absorbed people, hot dogs, wheat (I'm allergic), People who do not listen, Shooter video games
How are you described by others?: Shy, holder of grudges, weird, argumentative… honestly it depends on the person and what sides they have seen of me. Most people are not perceptive enough to see me beyond one dimension.

Are you more...
Introverted or extroverted? Introverted.
Optimistic, pessimistic, idealistic, or realistic? Pessimistic.
A leader or a follower? Follower.
Cynical or trusting? Cynical.
Mature or childish? Childish.
Independent or dependent? Dependent.
Cool or dorky? Dorky.
Careful or carefree? Careful.
High, medium, or low energy? Medium energy.
Confident or modest? Modest.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would you change? My mind's depressing outlook on everything.
What are some of your future goals? To complete my degree and become an English teacher in Japan, to marry my boyfriend, to purchase a nice home, to become content and let go of worrying.
How do you tend to act around those you don't know? Shy and uncomfortable

Disregarding type, what are some of your favorite Pokemon? Why? I really love Vaporeon because of nostalgic reasons, but Vaporeon has always been a good tank on all of my teams. Vaporeon also is simply an adorable Pokemon, and I do always like water types. My favorite Pokemon has actually become Reuniclus, though. I fell in love with this adorable Pokemon, and I think it has a very unique design. In real life, I am sure they would be really squishy and fun to hug! I have also really loved Wooper in these past few years. My tumblr handle actually is Wooper's Japanese name. I really developed a love for Wooper as I played HeartGold; its smile is just too adorable!
How do you usually dress? Do you think you'd dress any different if you were in the Pokemon world? (Links to and pictures of clothing you like are acceptable if you'd like!) I live in the southern U.S., so I don't have to dress in too much clothing, really! If it is really hot, I usually wear something simple like this: click or if it is a little more chilly (or even if it's hot), I often opt for the tights under jean shorts look: click. If I lived in the Pokemon world, I would probably dress according to climate. If I wear a gym leader, though, I would love to dress like Gen 1 Sabrina.
Do you think you'd be the type to specialize in certain Pokemon types? (Avoid naming certain types if possible) I think so, definitely. I would probably aim more at Pokemon that I have a penchant for liking for no explicable reason, though. Whenever I play Pokemon I stubbornly battle with my favorites -- even if they seem to have everything against them (nature, movepool, what have you) and I think as a trainer it would be a similar situation.
What's your goal in the Pokemon world? Do you want to go with the typical be the best or are we just here to have fun and explore? I don't think I would be the "best" if that means being a Pokemon Master, or if it means being the strongest… but I would want to perfect some sort of aspect of Pokemon rearing! Perhaps becoming the best in a certain type or becoming a strong gym leader would be my goal. I am sure I would have fun -- though that would not be my goal.
Besides Pokemon training, do ya think you'd want to have any "normal" hobbies? Or even a job? Or would your life be dedicated to training? I would not want to have a boring job if I had the opportunity to be a Pokemon trainer! But, I would probably develop some hobbies, sure. I think most of the time I would do things related to Pokemon, though, if I could live that way comfortably.
If you hung out in just one area, what would the climate be like? Is it in a city, in a town, or along the countryside? I think I would gravitate towards a city so that I could be surrounded by people that share my enthusiasm for Pokemon!
What's your strategy for fights? Predict the trainer's strategy and battle accordingly. I mostly battle in an amateur way by utilizing type advantage and STAB attacks.

Are there any Trainer Classes you absolutely do not want to be voted as? I find PokéManiacs and Pokéfans annoying.
Anything else you'd like to add? Feel free to be honest! I will not be offended. :)
