Day one, hurray!

So, I started the game up around 10am; not too keen on the intro, but hey.

I started with Tepig (as if anyone who knows me didn't expect the Fire-type by now!)

Tail Whip

Basic Tepig Get! I'm not too worried about the Nature for the starter, and whatnot...I intend to do EV training with bred Pokemon only. Each rival battles with you...Cheren with the Oshawott, which is surprisingly competent. Bianca with the Snivy, which was quick.

On Route 1, I caught a Patrat and a Lillipup; I am a Pokedex enthusiast. Of course, my Lillipup has the Vital Spirit ability, not Pickup... Oh well, when it evolves, it'll have Intimidate, not Sand Rush. What good is doubling your speed in a Sandstorm when the Sandstorm kicks the crap out of you? XD

Accumula Town was, honestly, a little boring. Team Plasma's speech, followed by the dance routine they used to leave town was hilarious. Then the crowd parts and N jumps me! O_o Oh well, it was only a level 7 Purrloin, I took it out quick enough.

Route 2 surprised me, with the first Regular-Joe trainers sporting level 7 and up Pokemon. Refusing to power-train the Tepig, I found myself surprised with the tenacity of the Patrat. It learned Bite at level 6! I nabbed a Purrloin on the way into Striaton, and Bianca caught up to me and demanded a battle. Patrat took care of her Lillipup nicely, and Tepig burned Snivy alive.

In Striaton, I side-stepped to the Dreamyard. There was a couple of Trainers, but nothing else. The building there was blocked by a Cut tree... At least I got a Pansage for free from the one girl there!

Back into town, the Gym was blocked by a guy telling me to visit the Trainer School. Cheren was there, with a Purrloin and his Oshawott to battle. I actually didn't need the Pansage for the Oshawott - the freaking Patrat took care of it again!

Finally getting to the Gym, the two Trainers were annoying, but easy enough. The Gym Leader, I got to fight Cress, was more annoying, and less easy. Pansage took out his Pansear in three hits, though, since he kept using Water Gun, so I didn't complain!

Back to the Dreamyard at Fennel's request, I took Team Plasma down, saved the Munna, blah blah blah... Then ran around like an idiot and couldn't find a Munna of my own for like twenty minutes. I caught an Audino there, though, so that was halfway worth it.

Deciding to give up on the Munna for the time being, I set out for Route 3, where after harassing a couple of toddlers for money and EXP I got tackled by Cheren, who even with the same two Pokemon, nearly kicked my ass! The Patrat saves the day again!

After that, a few Plasma goonies break through, and Bianca runs up after them along with some kid who had her Pokemon stolen. Cheren decides we'll go save it and takes off after Team Plasma. I followed him into Wellspring Cave where we each fought off a Grunt, and then double-battled together and took out two more. One Flame Charge from my Tepig and one Water Gun from his Oshawott each, took them out. He went to return her Pokemon, I stayed behind and caught a Woobat and a Roggenrola; the latter of which, I may keep on my team, since at level 11, it half-killed a level 13 with Headbutt. Imagine what it would do with moves that match its type. O_o;

After THAT illustrious endeavor, I decided to head back to the Dreamyard to train the Roggenrola on the Patrat and Purrloin there. By this time, it was about quarter after 12, and I had to leave for work at 12:35. Just as I was preparing to save and shut off, I run into a wild Munna! So I wound up finding one just in time. ^_^

So as I left it after two and a half hours, this is where I sat:
