More airline fun...

Ok, seriously, I know airline pricing is completely fucked-up, but this is just ridiculous. Booking another trip east next month, we have to coordinate getting myself to and from Boston as efficiently as possible, Kat to Boston and home by way of Ithaca, on the same flight out as my sister who will be visiting us. Fun times

am told that buying a ticket and skipping out on the last leg of the connection (as I plan to do) will screw up their system or mark me as a possible terrorist when I try to check-in for my return flight, but at this point I really don't care. Let their system crash; they've caused us enough fuss and bother already.

Tell that to your boss when you're stranded in Boston and not at work on Tuesday =( I suppose then you could always Greyhound up to Ithaca and hang out with me instead =)

i would tell them to blow you if they are pissed you didn't take the second leg. that's always good.

I've done it before with them (though on a return trip). They grumbled, but it was OK, mainly because I showed up at the gate to go to New York (in my case the flight was to NY through Boston), and told them I was too tired to make the flight, etc. after making arrangements w/ them in Oakland to pick up my luggage in Boston.
