For plastic toys (Tomy figures, Kids figures), a lot of people use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of tougher stains. Plain old soap and water can take care of most run-of-the-mill grime, too.

For plushes, a gentle hand-washing with a detergent like Woolite can do wonders, and tossing them in the dryer can fluff them out nicely after the wash (use a NO heat air fluff setting, just in case. Heat can melt some polyester fabrics)

HAHA! thankes! i was using nail polish remover and it was amazing, i was gonna get a magic eraser but turns out we dont have any, my grandma does though so ill get some.

as fer plushes, mine never get dirty, except flareon but thats because i cuddled with him alot and hes a lil worn. but the rest are clean as crystal! i did a google search and found a bunch of different things but that magic eraser is everywhere....i wonder if it really is magic...@.@

As for dirty figures, I found a toothbrush, hand soap and warm water gets rid of most dirtyness. I'll have to try nail polish remover/magic eraser some time.
For plushies, I read that putting them in a pillowcase when in the dryer decreases the chance of getting scuffs on plastic parts and makes the whole process easier on the plush. :)
