We had our maiden tender center voyage yesterday - I had never been before but we decided to pop in for a look around on our way to see the conveyancer. They had SO much cool stuff! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

tender center!!

love that place!!

there's one here in town too... and i've actually won a few things... well not won, but had won the bidding...
my mate margie and her dad pretty much built their entire house out of things from the tender center...

never trust them when they say 6pm for results... sometimes it's online, sometimes not...

GOOD LUCK!!

thanks for the heads up!

I thought I was quite reserved only bidding on 2 things - I saw about 30 things that I wanted. So now I not only have a Bunnings wish list, but a Tender Center wish list too! :)

hehehe i always bid on everything, but the stuff i'm not sure about i make stupid bids on - like $5 for a bike or a blender...

the key is also to bid strange amounts - don't bid even numbers like $10 or $20 or whatever, make it $22 or something instead - coz that $2 will often get you past the other people bidding on it who had the same idea as you did.

also, remember the bidding fee or whatever it is - usually 10% or so i think, that you pay on top of the cost of whatever you bid on!

wooooooooooo tendering this weekend in lismore too... must resist the urge...
:o)

Bidding odd amounts is a good idea - we didn't think of that.
