I know it's friggin hot down in Sydney today, but I thought I would just point out how unreasonably disgustingly hot and humid it has been up here today... The heat itself isn't so much of a problem... I think it was in the mid to high 30s... But the 91% humidity by 9am (according to the BOM) is what really gets you. In my last job there were 2 women who were a week apart in their pregnancies... One had terrible morning sickness like yours up until 23 weeks. The other had none at all, but by the end the roles had completely reversed. The one who'd had a great beginning was so uncomfortable to the point of being in pain, and the other one really enjoyed the end.

So I think you might be on to something with the reward thing.
