I'm with you on the 60's housefrau comment!! I was watching an old episode of Super Password on the Game Show Channel. They were proud to announce that they were "now in color!!". The contestants were a man and a woman. The man introduced himself, name, marital status, job, etc. The host turns to the woman and says "You're married...what does your husband do?" I almost fell off my chair. But she answered him like there was nothing wrong with the question.

Sooooo happy we've come so far enough that women are not simply extentions of their husbands but actual real human beings who deserve things like privacy and respect for their jobs (whether its employee or housefrau ;) or a combo of both!)
