Well I'm going to try to craft a proper update for all of you. I know it's been a while. I hope that my writing skills haven't been affected, as I feel like I'm growing dumber every day, but I'll do my best to bring you up to speed on my current situation

Paul please don't drink away your troubles. Don't be like Colonel Tigh.. do you want to lose an eye? And Starbuck was an a-hole, too, when she was drinking. Besides, "Life became depressing so I started drinking a lot" is a boring, overdone story and you are going to have a fascinating, new story. I know you're not drinking a lot now, but I don't want you to be depressed, either. You're better than Navy, no matter how hard it tries to break you. You're not losing your creativity, you're still a gifted writer. Your letters to us are amazing. You are out there living a life that is strange to us. You're like our friendly intepreter into the world of regime.

We all miss you to pieces. Don't lose spirit.
