I am a woman of financial contradictions.

I will wait 10 minutes before entering the turnstiles to Metro if that means the difference between peak and off-peak fare. (about $1.75)  But I don't think twice about buying some trashy magazines just to read on the commute home.

I clip coupons and actually use them, but don't think twice about spending $

Hey, if you save money on the Metro, then you can buy more trashy magazines, makes total sense to me! :)

Those play silks look like lots of fun! Although, I don't think Drew will like the fact that you're encouraging me to take on more craft projects.

i spend like that, too. walk from the farest cheapest parking ramp and grab caribou coffee on my walk in.

i really enjoy the crafty stuff, though. and it's a bonus if it saves money. have you dyed yarn before?

I haven't, but I've seen gorgeous pics on the 'net of yarns dyed with kool-aid. I find the idea of dying with kool-aid to be so intriguing. I need to get back into knitting, so I can justify a new craft!
