The other day I was at Union Square and had an inspiration for a poem, and I decided to commit myself to actually write it. Writing. Is. Work.

I challenged myself to finish a short story this year. Not just a rough draft, which I finished ages ago, but a second and third draft. I am almost done with the second draft. It's almost readable.

The 30's are a decade of expansion, I think. It's good to see you in a space where you can be open to broadening yourself. You've already grown so much, the willingness you have to keep going is heartening.

It's pretty cool to hear that you're still in a good place with your relationship, too.
