Its a family thing
Yep, in our family it seems to be shoulder issues are on the rise. But I'm happy to say that mine is slowly resolving. I have been in physical therapy (PT) for about a month now. When I started PT I could hardly lift my arm and there were many positions that just were not going to happen. But I am slowly getting that range of motion back. They have ( Read more... ) -

This week has been one of those weeks. Generally not bad, just with disappointing news and mild frustration. It is amazing how the actions of one can have such negative effects on so many others. Have I mentioned how much I love being a teacher? This being off whenever there is a school break is great! Getting paid for it is even better. I have been off work for almost 2 weeks now. When I am teaching nothing fun seems to get done. I come home and add papers to a pile that seems to continue to grow and grow. But this week I only teach one day and the others are mine (well, after I grade 24 papers that are due today). Yesterday, in preparation for some artistic fun I started going through the piles. Bleah
Last week I had to start on antibiotics for a really bad sinus infection. I was feeling just fine. Sinuses were clearing; I could actually breathe. But then from out of the blue I started coughing. In 24 hours I began to feel as though my throat had been sandpapered. My voice disappeared. I feel yucky. But life goes on ( Read more... ) -
Life goes on...and on
Two years ago I was going through a personal relationship crisis. It resulted in me taking a risk of moving to Seattle. Well, the Seattle thing didn't work for me. But as a result, I was able to take my dream job when I moved back to Kentucky. I LOVE teaching! I don't think that I have ever enjoyed my work as much as I enjoy my current job ( Read more... ) -

I found a table! It will be the first time in 15 years that I have had a table. Only one chair (not yet painted) but a table!
Waiting to find out if a friend can help me haul it home but Yea!
MInor correction. The household has other chairs that can be used but they are not really the kind of chairs you use for a dining room table.
