Tv on the radio and A. Human are on my top. Oh and Noiseshaper. Beck surprised me in a really good way with this one. Also liked Wax Poetic a lot.

yeah, beck's put out lots of hit-or-miss albums in the past, but i really dug this one.

you know, I don't think I have even SEEN 10 movies this year.. and the ones I did were on planes so not at all recent...

i was fortunate to make a new movie buddy when my old one moved away. one of my favorite things to do is go to the movie theatre. i pretty much never rent films and if i'm borrowing from the library, it's bound to be decades old.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua? Really? Haven't seen it. Pretty much dismissed it. I watch so many kids movies I try to avoid the ones I think look especially annoying. hmmmm.

it was filmed in Mexico City, so i instantly loved it. but on the serious, the movie tackled race & class issues (at a kids level!), using real live actual Mexican actors. trust me, i was blown away by how much i liked this movie.
