so it amuses me to drive around town and see all the churches with signs about their "Patriotic service" today. while i think it a wonderful thing for the church to support the state [see Romans Chapter 13] i was more impressed with the church i've been going to off and on since i moved into the area. i like that. good for them. my church also ignored the Patriotic bent today. actually, they've been bringing the subject of KJS into the sermon for the past 2 weeks. i know that certain friends of ours (maybe you, i don't know) don't support/agree with her theology... but the interim rector at my church is very very happy she's been selected. so i wait with open eyes to see where this ongoing discussion goes.
