It would be nice if it was so, wasn't it?
But unfortunately it isn't...

But, who knows, maybe it's for the better.
What would some people do if they could move or manipulate things just with their mind... They'd just destroy anything anywhere, or would kill people they don't like personally.

But if we were living at a higher vibration where such things were possible we wouldn't want to kill people and since we'd know they were immortal there'd be no point in trying....

Hm... Victims being unable to die doesn't prevent any bully from terrorizing anyone.
Then they go about to do that instead. (Being unable to die doesn't mean that violence is impossible.)

There will always be individuals who have an interest in that - not even for particular reasons, just because they want to...

I hear you, I got bamboozled into going "halfsies" on a much more substantial fence than the tangle of chicken wire and assorted shrubs that used to run along our driveway. I don't even know why a fence is necessary other than to contain Angry!Neighbor's dog.

This fence is also made out of PVC which I wish were illegal. I'm still kicking myself for falling for it although at least in theory it looks neater than what it replaced.

We have a wooden fence that will be replaced by another wooden fence. Repairing the existing one is an option but we're agreed that replacement is preferable.

That has to be vexing! I'm sorry you have the situation.

By code or by municipal ordinance, fences between properties in my community must be a certain distance "in" from the actual property line, which means they're on one property or the other and the responsibility of that property's owner ( ... )

Most of that is true here, too, except for the margin thing. Our properties are narrow (there's only the width of my driveway between my house and the property line, like an alley) so there's noplace the fence could be besides right on the line ( ... )

We've had the fences between all three neighbors and us replaced in the past year -- they made the arrangements and all we had to do was write a check for our share. The perks of being the Old Folks...

Looks like our neighbour has it in hand- and- like you- all we'll have to do is stump up our share of the cost.
