I thought I was excited to get my tax return money, but no. I only ended up getting really pissed off. Last year, I got about $650 back between both federal and state, and I made $7,000 for the year. This year, I make almost $12,000 and I am only getting back $318 from the federal government. The kicker to all of this is I have to pay the state $16
