It was worth the wait. Sensual, disturbing, unnerving, sad, hot. I'd beg for more, because really, I want to know what will become of Miranda, but... I'm not 100% sure I want to either. She really fucked up in a thousand ways, and fucked up Andy too. Interesting to imagine what may have happened if Miranda hadn't panicked, but this is an interesting study in self sabotage disguised as self-preservation. (In my opinion, that is. Maybe not yours.) And only you know Andy's true motivation. Or do you? So many questions left... Anyway, wonderful stuff.

Unfortunately, I didn't count on my readers thinking the worst. :) They, like you, are focused on Miranda's preparations, and overlooking my - obviously far too subtle - hints that Andy's adoration is more than skin deep:

::Andy warns Miranda that her coffee is hot; we know that she warns her repeatedly despite Miranda' ( ... )

My turn! I get to disagree with you here, mainly about Andy's motivations ( ... )

You're too cool. It's wonderfully refreshing to see your point of view on something I became so immersed in. Thank you very much for that.
