I have fallen in love with Sumikko Gurashi ever since I found out about them in late 2013, so I thought I would try spreading love for them a bit now that I have got some more new stuffs :'D

*flails* I LOVE EVERYTHING!!! It is such a cute series. I've loved Rilakkuma for a long time just because he's so quirky and cute but this take it to a WHOLE NOTHA LEVEL! When you have a weed, boba, and a mountain as characters, how is it not win? the odd-ness and quirk in this series is irresistible.

My Hubby really likes Gudetama from Sanrio and thats another one thats just so weird that it's /cuteeee!/.

Like I messaged you I'm having a hard time not going nuts with this stuff right now LOL I have a huge order out with Kitzune for pokemon stuff and I really need to not buy more /things/ right now because in the end... i have to tell myself they are just things... CUTE THINGS YES but I don't /need/ them at the moment.

KEEP SHARING so i can LOVE them all!! Especially Tokage!!! I love cats too so the big round bean cat is becoming harder to resist.

This series is just the BEST! All the characters have their little stories, and the more you read about them, the more you will fall in love with them ;_;

For example, Weed is a very positive character, his dream to is become a bouquet sold in the flower house! The bobas are leftover from bubble milk tea drinks, that's why they all have the ._. expression.

I think Gudetama is really weird, and lazy in a cute way :P

The description says (I hope I am not reading it wrongly, my Japanese is quite poor) it lives in the corner of the attic, and it stays quiet to avoid scaring others. It likes cleaning, and may appear if the attic is not clean. It likes interesting things. It opens its mouth when it's scared, but closes it very quickly.

Unfortunately, this Sumikko House is a Loft only (a department store in Japan) promotion from a while ago. It's already sold out quite some time :(

However, the plush storybook is still available in Loft when I visited Japan last month:

They used to be hard to find in Hong Kong too, but now that they have become more popular it's easier xD

I purchased it through a local store here in Hong Kong. But for some items, I buy them from yahoo auction jp.
