Yay! I can help you if you want! I just added you back.
You can post, and choose the security settings of your posts. Most of my posts are "friends-only". I just added you so you can see all my posts now instead of my random public ones.

Also you can upload userpics(icons), and those you have to save to your computer first and then upload to your journal. I have tons and can send you them if you want to see!

Anyhoo... welcome to LJ! It's kinda nerdy. There are some fun communities on here. Check out food_porn (that one you search by username and will come up if you type it in just as I did above). That one is awesome!
