i need to stop letting literature make me cry in public. it gets very embarrassing very quickly.

at 12AM i bought my first six pack. it was, of course, guinness.

today i got an e-mail saying that i have been nominated as an outstanding writer by my former creative writing professor. the e-mail asked me to read my writing in the undergraduate library for 5-10 minutes in front of an audience. i never thought i would get that kind of acknowledgment about my writing, and it makes me feel great and excited. but ( Read more... )
