What a day. For the past week, I haven't left the house. Once. Been working on that major feature, and it's now done, submitted last night. The editor got back to me, said it's wonderful, doesn't need any changes, all is good, and will be out this fall. I can't say much about the actual article til it gets published, but will post a link when it's ( Read more... )

Dude, I'm a retrosexual apparently. That's right, before, you were either a guy or a metrosexual. Now they're saying if you're not a metrosexual, you're a retrosexual. What happened to guy???

From what I've read, not sure what to make of him. I mean it's safe to say it'll be a Conservative pick. But as far as Conservatives go, he doesn't seem as bad as some of the others out there. I won't like the pick regardless, but I'll have to wait and see if he's the lesser of the evils.

Smurfs is going to be bad. I think I shall refuse to watch it on principle.

Haven't seen the new Superman costume. That bad?

I think he seems pretty bad. From the reaction I got from my friend, Aaron who's a law student in Boston and really was following this, he was one of the worst picks on the table.

I was also reading up about him, and it seems pretty bad... esp his stance on Roe v Wade and his belief that religion should be in schools.

Fuck. Hadn't read that.

I did read a bit about his position on Roe v Wade. It's extremely conflicted. On one hand, he tried to get it overturned as a lawyer. On the other hand, he said he did so on his client's behalf.

Then he said there's nothing in his personal beliefs to make him want to overturn it, saying it was done and should be left as done. Then he says he's Catholic.

So I don't know what to make of it all. But I'm not getting a good vibe from it.

And Michael Bay has been announced as the director of the Transformers movie. I hate Michael Bay for two reasons:

1. He directed Pearl Harbor and made it into a love story.
2. He wouldn't let Scarlett Johansson take off her bra and go topless for the love scene, because the movie had to be PG-13.

ROTFL! You hated the man who directed Closer for similar reasons right?:))
Pearl Harbor has to be the worst movie of all times. Eeaaarggh!

BTW did you see Team America: World Police yet? There's a song in there, "Pearl Harbor Sucks," which rocks. Unfortunately, not on the soundtrack or I would've bought it.

I'm sure Will Smith will leap at the chance to be the Smurf in Converse Ultras who runs to the rescue. I'm sure there'll be a Coke machine somewhere in the movie too.

LoL well I'm sure they'll edit it on their part. But that's okay. It's done, out the door, they're happy, I'm happy.

I just got it yesterday, gonna start on it today. Can't wait :)
