With spring approaching in the northern hemisphere, I finally feel able to splurge a little on the remaining fruits I have frozen from last summer. Made these muffins today, and oh my word, they're so delicious.

Original recipe here: my adaptations are in my notes, below.

So if you make them with frozen blueberries, do you have to thaw them out first? Or mix in still frozen?

I'm intrigued, especially by your substitutions. So, when you say you "melted a 1/4 butter," what do you mean? 1/4 cup? 1 Stick (1/4 of a box)?

I've never substituted yogurt before and the idea is really appealing.

Thank you for the recipe!

Oh, sorry, my bad! I meant 1/4 cup of butter - I'll edit the notes.

I love yogurt in muffins - love the slight tang and the moisture it brings.

Thanks! I especially appreciated your comments on who it worked out and what you liked about this recipe. I've jotted it down and will try it with my own substitution of frozen blackberries.
