i have no idea how i compose

i still have my journal on the old format

i have it bookmarked on my computer

i log on to my computer/i click my bookmark icon

i click the pencil /i type/ i click post - DONE!

it's all i need to know

couldn't answer your first question. i don't mess with stuff as long as it's working. it's in whatever format it was in when i started the account.

I can navigate my way through HTML fine, but I don't like looking at plain text cluttered with tags in this horrible font. I only switch to HTML to source problems if something's gone wonky after a copy/paste.

I think it maybe depends on what you're used to. Having gone to the trouble of learning HTML back in the day (I built a web-site entirely in HTML) and having always used it on LiveJournal since then, I think I just take the clutter of tags for granted. Plus, I like that I have control over how my posts will look, and that I'm able to adjust the formatting if it doesn't look how I want it.
