Um, the main reason I like it better than the book is that Evey is a more developed character. Also, there's less of the weirdness about the Prime Minister/dictator/whatever's sexuality.

yes. i meant everything i just said up there completely. No silly!(maybe i was coming on a little strong, i was really bored at work and capslock seemed so fun...) But i did really hate that movie. and personally i thought the whole end scene that turned their relationship into a lame romantic thing really made both their characters seem a lot shallower. And i didn't like how all the non- mainstream sexualities were repressed for the movie. Like the flamboyantly gay newsman? he was my favorite character in the comic! and i liked how the dictator guy was in love with his computer, or whatever....
