[Forward-dated to the evening of the 9th (i think that's right...!!). Action for Cherrygrovers, video for others.]
[Finally. Machi had arrived in Cherrygrove, along with his group of explorers. He didn't look that good, though -- he's not really that good with camping out.

[The Professor was out by the mart to buy some more supplies. He is carrying his backpack with him and is walking along with his HootHoot and Vulpix. He's wearing his usual outfit and not his alternate one.]

[The Professor only takes a few minutes to arrive inside the Pokemon Center. It wasn't like he was ridiculously far away or that this city was huge. When he does enter the center and sees Machi, he walks on over with a smile.]

Hello, Machi. It's quite the pleasure to meet you in person.

[The Professor tips his hat. He notices that the little piano boy is actually a bit wet. Hold on for a second as he goes through his bag to hand over a small towel.]

Please dry yourself quickly, my boy. I do not want you to be catching a cold now.

It's a longer trip to Violet City, so make sure you rest as much as you can. It takes about a week to get to Violet.
