What's the deal with all the ghost town communities around LJ? Did people just stop caring about their interests when they joined back up during the revival? LJ comms are honestly my ideal way to interact with people online who have similar interests, and it bums me out that so many comms I was excited about (pinkhair, glitterwhores, angelic_voices) haven't had any action for years

Only one group I'm a member of - theladiesloos seems to have any traffic, aside from abandonedplaces :(

Yeah, I really miss communities being a thing. The only one I'm active in now is terror_scifi.

It'd be handy to have a comm for advertising new comms. There are a couple I'd love to start, but I feel as though no one would use them.
