Since I have to sit here and do nothing at work all day, I have much to ponder and consider while reading the NYTimes, Le Monde and the Guardian. I also feel the need to reconnect some neural pathways that seem to have atrophied in the last few weeks. So here I go on another political tangent/ social commentary

Of course, but by-in-large, Americans are pro-Israel, although Americans are profoundly racist when it comes to Arabs/Palestinians/Muslim in general.

I totally agree with the hideousness of Israeli actions in Lebanon. Although, no one has ever accussed the Israelis of employing "measured" responses to threats or attacks.
