Pornalot Vote Closing and Fanfic Update
Hi all! I will close the Pornalot poll at midnight BST tomorrow so please vote before then if you wish to!
That's a bit of a dry thing to post alone so a quick fandom update (or just a reminder to myself about what I need to do):
Things I'm working on rn:
Merlin whump Coinelot auction fic - very very nearly finished, needs like 300 words more
Fandom Trumps Hate auction fic - a Royal AU, modern with magic, so horribly late that I am living in a permanent shame spiral but progress is being made! This is basically the only thing on my radar right now
A completed mini-sequel to A Song from Far Away - I'm not sure when to post that yet
Future projects:
ACBB - depending on timing this will either be the royal au fic above or the Song From Far Away sequel that I wrote for 2016's ACBB
Merlin Canon fic - I have The Witchfinder! Aredian is a great villain so I think there's definitely going to be some torture/angst in there
Elyan and Femslash reclists for Tumblr - the Elyan one comes complete with a hideous picture I made on Paint so get excited
Sophia/Vivian fic - one where Sophia kidnaps Vivian so she can open the gates of Avalon with a princess, but gets completely sick of her going on about Arthur and maybe kinda falls for her a bit...
Siren!Merlin fic - which I conceived approx 400 years ago and have been too lazy to write
Elyan/Arthur fic - too many ideas for these two, I want to do something canon around A Herald of the New Age and also something cute and fluffy in modern times
Merlin/Gwaine fic - somehow I never wrote this?? Even though I love this pairing?? A huge oversight which I intend to correct
Freya/Vivian - because there's so many inspiringly cute fics about these two
Arthur/Gwen - never written it and have no ideas as yet so am waiting till I see the perfect prompt!
Many many porn fics of various shapes and sizes - including a rival pornstars AU for someone that has waited so long for it they actually LEFT THE FANDOM (like I don't think that's why but still...)
The Merthur Canon AU where Merlin flees his abusive husband from the Kink Meme - all the aaaangst
Also To Do:
800,000 fucking WIPs that I have failed on consistently for (literally in some cases) years now
Things to Ponder
A fest in commemoration of Aggy, using the many amazing prompts she left behind or her own work as inspirations to participants (with extra bonus points for integration of disability in fic, which she loved and championed) - the challenge might be finding a good time of year for this
Random Curveball
Might write a Social Network fanfic?? Just for bants??

As ever, I recommend this fest wholeheartedly! It doesn't take up any extra time if you're like me and love writing h/c fic anyway, you can just fit it round what you're already doing!
