So I am officially at Raquette Lake Girls Camp. The flight was long and tedious, as always, but Pez and Destiny came and saw me at the airport before I left and that made me very happy

Pollonium, my dear, first off, I am very very sorry that I wasn't able to see you before you left. I would love to see you as soon as you get back if it works out. Second, I really hope things get better for you. My mom worked at that same camp in the seventies and it sounds like the kids are just as spoiled as they were thirty years ago. But my mom ended up having an amazing summer and she still speaks very fondly of her experience there. So all I can say is, there is hope. Hang in there buddy, you'll be ok. Love and kisses!

My darling Polushkah. First of all, that name is all the more Jewish now! Second, I told you so. But more importantly, you are going to have a great summer. And yes, the kids maybe snobby, but that doesnt mean that they wont be amazing. The unpacking part is obnoxious, and i know of other camps that do it. But you'll teach them to suck it up and it will be great. Send me an email when you can with some more details bout this place. Do they sing Jewish songs on friday nights?? Cause if you come back knowing hebrew, Im gonna laugh hardcore. Take care my little Jewish girl that could! Miss you lots. Sending you lots of lurve.
