I have mentioned my polyamory project on my personal LJ a few times but instead of being able to meet with all the people who have volunteered to be interviewed, I have created an online survey. This means strangers can fill it out, too! It eases the process for me, since it will track the data anonymously, and I think it will be easier on those ( Read more... )

hi,

that's great you're doing work on poly stuff. fyi-any information that you collect that is from the words of other people (called primary research) needs to be approved by the insitutions ethics board. so you technically cannot ask people to do this without permission by your University. i'd love to fill it out, but won't because of this. talk to your prof, they'll know how to help you.

:) i was origionally just going to give this to a couple of my friends to get their opinions, thus the casual and sometimes silly nature of the survey. i will look into this with my university, as it is important to me to be ethical. thanks for the heads up.

I stopped taking it as soon as I got to the income question. Income amount and class are not equivalent.
