Hello there, Poly. \o/
This is Hamel. He's from an old cracked out series, Violinist of Hameln. And if I recall, I believe he was played here for a while ...a long time ago. sup Virginia? >D He won't have any memories of that time. But Hamel is a bonefied asshole to friend and foe alike (he's an equal opportunity hater :>) and will do just about anything for a quick buck or hundred. He also has a 4th dimensional bag of costumes, so ladies beware. You'll probably end up in something of his eventually.
Now, before you go friend adding him, there are some things that need to be explained about his powers and the like.
A couple things about Hamel:
He is a half-demon and he is a musician. When you put these two together, you get the strangest idea of a seinen manga: a magic musician. Yeah. He fights with music.
What does this mean for you?
Hamel's magical music directly affects those around him. Depending on whatever symphony he's playing, he can stir people's emotions, bring great strength, or his personal favorite, use them as puppets aka the Marionette Version. The Marionette Version can and will give him full use of your character's body. And he'll probably use it for personal gain like. Money. And, maybe some money. As far as 'stirring emotions', this means that whatever the composer had in mind when he wrote it, that's the emotion it'll bring about. Like, say if he needs the people around him to be brave enough to fight? He'll play a score that was written for some troops somewhere and the people listening will suddenly feel A SUDDEN BURST OF BRAVERY. On the flipside of that, he could play a funeral march to make everyone around him depressed. It's a great party trick, really.
Another thing, not so much about his powers but about him. He will do almost anything for money. Like, sneak into your home and steal something to sell it. (I cannot even count the number of times he does this to Raiel's piano.) He doesn't do it all the time, but if you want your character to have this happen, be prepared to visit every pawn shop to try and find the item.
He also prefers to throw things and people when he's fighting a not-so-serious fight, and yes he will throw his friends at his enemies, so should that occur (...I hope it doesn't.) be ready for that. :>
I have a full permissions post
here with a lot more information and detail and a nifty form to fill out, so if you could fill that out at some point, it'd help me know what's kosher and what's not.
WITH ALL THAT OUT OF THE WAY.
Please, friend add epicviolinist or the hover thing.
