I wish you could take me with you...just looking at that photo makes my heart fall to the pit of my stomach! It's just so calm, serene. So many shades of green! The land looks so rich, it's so full of life.
Do you have it? Well, I'm going to the library tomorrow. I'm really bad at reading stuffy (but beautiful, I know) things like Baudelaire and Rilke and Voltaire, is it like that?
Hehehe I posted a picture from that series today on my semi-new journal! I went back two years ago, it got under my skin! It got under my skin. But I've mainly stayed in the metropolitans, which is a problem because I regret never having seen scenery like ^.
Your semi-new journal? I love that series and it makes me want and want and want. I went back two years ago too, and it was the first time I went to all the beautiful places, we went down the river and saw the terracotta soldiers and the world's largest buddha and we climbed mountains and saw monkeys and springs and so many temples and shrines and oh god!
Well the time I went back (the first time since I'd left) it was to Beijing, then Shanghai, then Guandong, then the sister city of HongKong, I forget the name. But mainly I remained in the two cities I grew up in [Changsha and Chenzhou] which are both in the Hunan province. I wanted to go see the terracotta soldiers and the huge buddha but it was off course! So I climbed mountains and listened to legends and saw temples and went shopping endlessly in Beijing. I love China, but I could never live there.
