The rest of the trip

I meant to post parts 2 and 3 of the Tennessee trip already. When I saved the draft, though, those parts got lost, and only part 1 remained. Upon realizing this, I knew that there was no way in hell I wanted to write in detail the rest again, and I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to read it ( Read more... )

Thank you for finishing this. I was curious what you all wore and hope some pictures will surface one day.

I'll happily show you the outfits tomorrow. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't take a picture, but I swear, it was all I could do to just survive and keep the kids distracted and okay. I was spending all my attention on calming Philip down, and keeping Jilly relatively chill.

For everyone else:
Jilly wore a long, sleeveless, high necked white dress with big navy blue polka dots and a bright pink sash with a built in single layer crinoline (Target), and a white cardigan sweater with little lace ruffles running down the center (Children's Place). White tights, and black matte maryjanes. Big navy blue bow hairclip on one side.
Philip wore navy blue docker type pants (Children's Place), a white undershirt and a long sleeved white oxford (Target). Navy blue socks, and black matte loafers.

Wow, all those days with no naps (so no breaks for you!). I'm impressed you survived. It sounds like you need a vacation from your vacation. :)

I hope everyone was able to get back into the normal routine quickly!

The no naps part was kinda bad, but not as much because it didn't give me a break (I fully expect no breaks on vacation), but because it made every. single. thing. be. life. or. death. for. the. kids.
They were so freaking dramatic the whole time. I mean, it's not like they were bad, they were exceptional and sweet, they were just so freaking needy and emotional. Completely overstimulated, completely overtired ( ... )

oh my. I was reading your comments. I'm sorry to hear about Jilly's new fears and nightmares. :( Poor baby. So happy Philip did better than expected in the daycare! That's awesome.

The outfits sound so so super cute. Little kids all dressed up is adorable.
