Blessed with some of the most creative fans I’ve ever befriended, it’s no wonder the SGA fandom simply excels at crack. Writing an in-character fic can be a challenge, even more so when you turn the main characters into inanimate objects, animals or mythical fairytale creatures (among other things), but the authors for the following fics not only accomplished the task, they perfected it to an art form.
No, seriously.
See, the thing is: I love crack fics. You could even say I'm addicted to them (har har not so much). I love its lightheartedness and tongue-in-cheek humor, and most of all, its ability to make me laugh even after an excruciatingly long day. Add some Mckay/Sheppard to it and I'm done for. Hopefully you guys will like it, too. ♥

Summary: Every winter it’s the same story: John tries to lead them across the field, over the river, and up the hill through the forest, but the snow blankets every convenient landmark, piling in drifts over the stone walls and bushes and even the long flat path the humans have made.
Comments: Turkey!verse. It's heartwarming and adorable in a way you never thought your Thanksgiving meal could make you feel. I know who's getting the tofurkey this November. (BTW? Sequel)

Summary: Um. Kind of what the Season 3 premiere would be like, if it were written by Douglas Adams. And he was on crack.
Comments: Rodney describes the loads -heaps! oodles!- of sex he's had...to wraiths.

Summary: The marines help their beloved CO with his troubled love life.
Comments: So this isn't a single fic review so much as episodes. But each tidbit is barely a page long and absolutely hilarious, the epitome of quality crack, a prime example of the devotion for Sheppard his men have for him and...MISSION ACOMPLISHED!!

Summary: Three things John and Rodney never were, but could have been.
Comments: 3 different scenarios. The first story is quite interesting in the way you don't notice until oh!, it hits you.
You Only Ever Lose One by thighholster
