Or the original title if you're interested (and of course you are): What Were They On (And Where Can We Get Some?): Top Ten Mckay/Sheppard Crack Fics
Blessed with some of the most creative fans I’ve ever befriended, it’s no wonder the SGA fandom simply excels at crack. Writing an in-character fic can be a challenge, even more so when you turn the main characters into inanimate objects, animals or mythical fairytale creatures (among other things), but the authors for the following fics not only accomplished the task, they perfected it to an art form.
No, seriously.
See, the thing is: I love crack fics. You could even say I'm addicted to them (har har not so much). I love its lightheartedness and tongue-in-cheek humor, and most of all, its ability to make me laugh even after an excruciatingly long day. Add some Mckay/Sheppard to it and I'm done for. Hopefully you guys will like it, too. ♥
Everything in italics are quotes taken directly from the author's journal/fic.
But Where Would They Live by
thingswithwings Rating: this is fic in which RODNEY IS A UNICORN AND JOHN IS A RAINBOW. no ratings or warning will sufficiently prepare you for this. the MPAA doesn't have a category for this. it is pure, unadulterated crack, and I have nothing to say in my own defense.
