Amazing how expediently short memories can become...

I didn't think this before the beginning of this campaign season, but now I do:

Although electing Barack Obama President of the United States is the preferable option, defeating Hillary Rodham Clinton must be my #1 priority. It's not just that she and her husband have been exposed as being racist and lying "triangulators," but I believe that her method of campaigning reveals what would be her governing style: polarization, vindictiveness, one up-manship, secrecy and constant, never-ending fear of being found to be "weak" by the Right Wing.

Frankly, I'd rather have McCain for four years than "Nixon in a pantsuit."

I've not become as engaged by this campaign as I have on some occasions, but as much as I have seen of the Clinton campaign disturbs me. Sadly, such expedience usually makes for more effective politicians, while the supposedly pure end up floundering in a mess of maladministration. Even so, I think a second Clinton presidency would be disastrously divisive for the US.
