oooooooooooh yum! I think I have some Port in the house... I'd forgotten it was there! I hope it's not turned to vinegar.

I doubt it would turn. I mean I keep it in a nice dark place, but then it's near the stove so who knows for sure? I stick mostly to beer and whiskey though after dinner. If I drink wine it's with dinner and then Port isn't exactly a dinner drink.

Due to your inspiration, here's an update:

Found 2 partially-filled bottles of Port in said cabinet.
W & J Graham's 1989 vintage: yum!
Taylor Fladgate 4XX: no date on bottle: yum!

We have some lovely cheeses in house so that's what we're doing for lunch. Thanks for the inspiration. And neither bottle has turned. *licks lips*
