So. Yesterday since I updated I finished East of Eden by John Steinbeck which was AMAZING. It was so good. Depressing, of course, but sooo good. Then I watched the movie, which was terrible. They screwed up the plot to make it a love story and they made the father mean, when he wasn't mean in the book. And then they took out like 20 characters. I ( Read more... )

Today I discovered The Libertines. No, I rediscovered them. I liked them last year, but when I got into 60s music I sort of dismissed all modern bands. Well, I decided to listen to them again because one of the guys in the band is REALLY hot (Carl). Oh my God, is he hot.

oh my effing eff! i just recently discovered the libs too *thanks to wildhoneypie4 and i too really just listen to 60s bands and don't give anyone else much of a chance, lol...annnnnnd I LOVE CARLOS!!!! and your crazy liberal too?! you're like my favorite new friend, lol.

Haha, Ciara sort of got me back into The Libertines too (although she doesn't know it)! Reading her posts about them everyday got me interested :).
Yeah, I used to think that the only bands with talent were ones from the 60s. Now I'm loosening up a bit haha.

We have SUCH different taste in guys, hahaha. But then again maybe that's a good thing, could be weird otherwise. :P Not to mean I don't love Tagger! I just don't love him like that obviously. All you freshmen are like extra siblings for me, hahaha, you're too cute. :)

CRAP. I guess it's over, sob. Haha jk, but

is not really working right now. You see, when in California, my grandmother was bugging me to get my hair trimmed so we came to an agreement that I would only get the back and maybe the sides trimmed, so we went to some place in St. Helena. The woman killed my hair. As in brutally chopped and hacked until I was virtually bald (again). Well, that's a little of an exaggeration, but still. It's terrible, I hate it, and I don't want anyone to see me until at least a month unless I'm wearing a hast that covers my entire head. (Haha I just typed "heads." I was thinking of leaving it, but then thoguht better of it. People think I'm wierd enough, haha)

Okay, I've told you over and over: I just don't have the hair for it. My version of "shaggy" would be most normal people's idea of "afro." Seriously. Oh, and, I WAS trying to grow it out until I got the Haircut from Hell. Or the Barber Butchery. Or the Scalp Scandal. Or... Well, you get the point. I was trying (for YOU). Haha grrrrrrrrrr.
