STEPHEN/PAUL PLEEEEASEEEE. I am craving your S/P fic so effing bad. :x

For a prompt, song lyrics!

Take me to a place, high above the tide
Underneath the waves, where I can come inside
A reveille, told in fractured time
Only in this way, will I become alive.

From the song Underneath The Waves by The Twilight Singers.

This grew. This really, really grew- long enough even for a title! Thank you.
(And a PS- could I have the song, maybe? I was afraid to ask before I finished this, for fear of being overly influenced, but if you have it, I'd like to see how far off I was from its tone.)

Posted in two comments because it's too damn big.

Someone's Idea of ParadisePaul sleeps while the world outside is playing with the idea of soft, early colors, and in his head is where the world turns. Sunk beneath clean linen, his skin floats over blood, and his blood washes blue and slow through his veins in easy, melting tides ( ... )

In Paul's head, the world turns, and in Paul's head, Stephen comes to him, soft and clean and naked, brushing sand from his bare feet and walking across the kitchen to pour two cups of coffee. They sit on the floor, knees and legs together as they stare at the horizon, watching its broad, simple curve, and how easily the sky and sea combine ( ... )

PLOASDKF;ASLDFJK;LK OH PAUL ;_; This was perrrrrfect. Aww, I loved the part with Stephen and his kids, and omg, I just feel so much for Paul. I seriously have gone way too long without fic from you, and this was just amazing.

And here's the song: Underneath the Waves - The Twilight Singers

Bri, I had no idea. Your writing is.. sensual, thoughtful. It puts a little pressure on you, just like a hand which turns into and arm and then a whole weight pushing, then manages to catch you behind with the other hand.

Wow like much.

Hey, did you know.. the ability to mentally carry out a story like that points well towards your ability to actually carry out a (schmexxx?!?) scene in a bedroom/hallway/lobby wherever. Fearless confidence is step one, but creativity will ALWAYS be step two! Way to go muches.

Ha, I'll totes help you with that. I'm bad at most things blatantly porny, so we might be a gooood team.

Pfeh, LIBEL. If anyone decides to go after fans, they'll go after fans who write about characters from books/TV/etc. first, because that's breaking copyright, which is actually expressly illegal. Basically, with everything you post (publically,) it's a good rule of thumb to attach a basic disclaimer saying something like 'The following is NOT an intently false statement created with the express purpose of misleading others about the actual character of the people within.' If you're not making any money off of it, there's really no reason for anyone to sue you, or to care. (Case in point- no one at the Daily Show cares about us crazy slashers (and they know about us but good,) because to them, all we're doing is further propagating love of the show. And Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy and Firefly, actually encourages fanfic, as it gets the fans more involved, and more dedicated, to the shows ( ... )

We will always be ICKY CREATIVE.

I read the Arsenie/Radu one and the Brent/Bryan "15 Seconds After Coming Home".. after I tried to read more, but your site was like WTF NO YOU CAN'T, something about upload limit. But I <3 it none the less.

I guess the famous people issue doesn't much bug me, well, because, everyone else does it and I haven't heard of much horrible things happening in connection with all this homoerotic literature. The one that concerns me more is the latter -- people that aren't really famous (McSchottlister or Seannor) finding out somehow and causing some kind of HUGE riot. Or something. Just, I'm imagining myself getting mixed up in some kind of non-slash related crime and then all my slash being found, and getting p0wND by the media/news for it. And being horribly embarassed the rest of my life and never be able to get dates again, except in Europe where they don't know my name or age.

Or something. Can't imagine why I have that past related irrational fear ( ... )

OKAY, THIS IS ANOTHER TWILIGHT SINGERS SONG, BUT THEY ARE AWESOME.

Slow down, lean in, call up that feeling
You get when you're dealing, that all too deceiving side of you
Who loves you true, but they'll just forget it, they'll just forget it.
That shit'll twist your little mind if you let it.

Candy Cane Crawl - The Twilight Singers.

ILUSOMUCH OMG. <33 :D

I couldn't write this without it being horribly despressing, and the other one was depressing enough, so I gave up for a few days. And then today I went on a picnic and wrote this; CAN YOU TELL ( ... )
